Fabric details

FabricBS-03

Prentiss is a reversible slub weave that blends polyester with cotton and linen for a relaxed, linen-like look. Thick-and-thin yarns leave soft streaks through the cloth, with small darker flecks here and there. The surface is matte, and from across the room it reads as calm, quietly textured cloth.

Finished beautifully on both sides

I liked knowing the Prentiss fabric looks finished on both sides because our windows are visible from the porch. The Chalk panels have a relaxed slub and enough weight to hang neatly.

Charcoal glow without full blackout

The Charcoal panels filter a lot of glare but are not blackout, so you still see a glow in strong sun. That was ideal for our office. The fabric feels dense and practical without looking synthetic.

A calm, linen-like Cocoa

Cocoa is a calm brown rather than a dramatic dark color. The small flecks and streaks give it a linen-like surface, and the reversible weave makes the folds look substantial from every angle.

FAQs

The answers people ask us most. Still unsure? Talk to a person.

How do I measure?

Measure your rod tip to tip, ignoring the finials, and divide by the number of panels. Fullness is sewn in, so don't add any. For length, measure from the eye of a ring straight down to the floor. On a track, measure from the top of the track to the floor and subtract 1″. Read the measuring guide

Which pleat should I choose?

The pleat is the sewn top of the curtain. Double pinch is the classic and is included in the base price. Triple pinch is fuller and more formal, tailored pleats are clean and modern, and box pleats sit flat and crisp.

Can I see the colors first?

Yes. Order up to 5 free swatches of the real linen and see the colors in your own light. They're yours to keep.

What do the light levels mean?

Every curtain sits on a four-step scale from sheer to blackout. Prentiss is light filtering: daylight comes through softly, with privacy by day.

What if my floor isn't level?

Panels arrive with adjustable hooks already on. Raise or lower a panel at its hooks to level the hem.

Do I need tiebacks?

They're optional: one per panel, in the same linen, $19 each. Prentiss is made unlined.

When will it arrive, and can I cancel?

It's made to order and delivered in 2–3 weeks. Cancel free within 12 hours; after that, a 25% fee covers the fabric and labor already committed. Because it's sewn to your size there are no returns, but any defect is replaced.
