Fabric details

FabricAK-01

Barnaby is a rustic, slubbed plain weave in polyester with a touch of linen. Up close, short dashes of darker, thicker yarn are scattered through a fine, pale crosshatch like pencil marks on paper. From across the room they fade into a soft, airy texture, and the cloth glows when the sun is behind it.

The right lightweight fabric for doors

I wanted something lightweight for our kitchen doors, and this fabric glows beautifully without looking like a sheer. The rustic weave makes the neutral color feel relaxed and forgiving.

Tiny flecks come alive in the sun

Barnaby has tiny darker dashes that look like pencil marks on the Greige fabric. They almost disappear from across the room, then give the curtain a lot of character when the sun is behind it.

Airy and relaxed, best for layering

These panels are airier than most of the light-filtering options. They move nicely with an open window and soften the outdoor view, though I would layer them in a room that needs strong nighttime privacy.

FAQs

The answers people ask us most. Still unsure? Talk to a person.

How do I measure?

Measure your rod tip to tip, ignoring the finials, and divide by the number of panels. Fullness is sewn in, so don't add any. For length, measure from the eye of a ring straight down to the floor. On a track, measure from the top of the track to the floor and subtract 1″. Read the measuring guide

Which pleat should I choose?

The pleat is the sewn top of the curtain. Double pinch is the classic and is included in the base price. Triple pinch is fuller and more formal, tailored pleats are clean and modern, and box pleats sit flat and crisp.

Can I see the colors first?

Yes. Order up to 5 free swatches of the real linen and see the colors in your own light. They're yours to keep.

What do the light levels mean?

Every curtain sits on a four-step scale from sheer to blackout. Barnaby is light filtering: daylight comes through softly, with privacy by day.

What if my floor isn't level?

Panels arrive with adjustable hooks already on. Raise or lower a panel at its hooks to level the hem.

Do I need tiebacks?

They're optional: one per panel, in the same linen, $19 each. Barnaby is made unlined.

When will it arrive, and can I cancel?

It's made to order and delivered in 2–3 weeks. Cancel free within 12 hours; after that, a 25% fee covers the fabric and labor already committed. Because it's sewn to your size there are no returns, but any defect is replaced.
